HD Total Wire Brush HD-CW Series
The HD Total Wire Brush Pig by Royal Poly Products is designed for comprehensive pipeline cleaning. Featuring a robust construction of open-cell polyurethane foam (density of 8 – 10 lb/ft 3 ) enclosed with aggressive wire bristles, this pig effectively removes construction debris, mill scale, and other stubborn deposits from both new and existing pipelines.
Applications
Total Wire Brush Pigs are ideal for various industrial applications, including:
New Pipelines: Specifically designed to clean construction debris and mill scale from newly
installed pipelines, ensuring that contaminants are removed before the pipeline enters service.
Slurry Lines: Effective in maintenance pigging operations for slurry pipelines, particularly in
coal plants and alumina refineries, where they help maintain optimal flow by preventing
blockages.
Seawater Intake Lines: Nylon bristle versions are successfully used to clean poly pipes in
seawater intake applications, removing barnacles and organic matter from subsea intake
facilities to protect pumps and filters from damage.
