ID Silicon Carbide ID-SC Series
These are engineered for effective cleaning in pipelines requiring moderate to aggressive debris removal. Constructed from 2–3 lbs/ft³ density foam and embedded with silicon carbide particles, these pigs provide a combination of flexibility and enhanced abrasive power. They are ideal for removing light scale, rust, and tougher deposits without causing damage to the pipeline.
The intermediate-density foam ensures that the pig remains flexible enough to navigate bends and variations in pipeline diameters, while the silicon carbide particles deliver sufficient abrasion for more thorough cleaning tasks than standard foam pigs.
